Glasgow reacts to Easter weekend 'heatwave'

Nobody knows how to embrace the sun quite like Glasgow.

Even if it's just for 10 minutes of the day, the minute the temperature goes above 15 degrees and the sun peaks out from the behind the clouds, we tend to lose all perspective.

Whether its taking to the River Clyde for a spot of paddle boarding or going #tapsaff when it's still just that bit too cold, we know how to embrace the good weather.

The recent combination of sunny weather plus the bank holiday has brought out the best in Glaswegians.

So we've cobbled together some of our favourites for you.

Here they are - Glasgow's best reactions to the Easter heatwave...

Glasgow Easter weather: sunshine set to continue until bank holiday Monday

We admire this guy's commitment to getting the use out of his paddle board. 10/10 for determination, we say.

He wasn't the only one who decided to take a wee dip to cool down. This brave guy took to the Clyde canal for a wee splash about (ouch).

Of course we had to get the Duke involved somehow. He looks very fetching in his Hawaiian shirt - and we're impressed with the photo shopping skills too!

Meanwhile, some just couldn't resist taking a wee dig at the temperature difference in Glasgow and Edinburgh yesterday...

Then again, there are some that are more realistic about the 'heatwave'.

We can't argue with that.
