Glasgow rail services disrupted after bull wanders onto train line

Services to and from Glasgow Central train station have been disrupted this evening.

ScotRail have confirmed that a bull on the line to be the cause of the disruption.

The incident has forced the closure of the rail line between Bishopton and Paisley St James.

As a result, services between Glasgow Central and Wemyss Bay and Gourock are currently affected.

ScotRail took to Twitter to alert rail users of the disruption, tweeting: "The line between Bishopton and Paisley St James is currently closed due to a bull on the railway.

"This will cause disruption to services between Wemyss Bay, Gourock and Glasgow Central."

Disruption is expected to last until around 22:30 this evening.
