Glasgow Queen Street trains cancelled after person hit by train near Stirling

A person has been hit by a train near Stirling.

ScotRail expects disruption on a number of Glasgow Queen Street services until lunchtime as a result.

A statement reads: "Unfortunately we have had reports of a person being struck by a train between Stirling and Larbert, because of this services will be disrupted.

"We are working closely with emergency services and will update you once we receive more information from our staff on the ground."

All lines in the area are closed and that means trains from Glasgow to Perth, Abderdeen, Dundee, Inverness, Alloa and Dunblane are affected.
