Glasgow public urged not to approach man reported missing from city centre

The public has been warned not to approach a man who has been reported missing from the city centre.

Dogan Atik was last seen around 7.30pm on Saturday, April 1, in the Rodney Street area.

Police are trying to trace the 30-year-old 'as quickly as possible' and are asking anyone who has seen or spoken to him to come forward.

Anyone who sees Dogan, who also has links to Nottingham, is urged to report the sighting to police immediately.

He is described as being 5ft 7in tall with short black hair. When last seen, he was wearing a black parka jacket with a black top underneath, black jogging bottoms, and white trainers.

Detective Inspector Barrie Kirkland said: “We want to trace Dogan as quickly as possible and I’d be interested to hear from anyone who has seen or spoken to him since the evening of Saturday, 1 April.

“The public should not approach him but should report any sightings to Police Scotland immediately.

“Anyone with information should contact police on 101, quoting reference 3923 of 3 April, or speak to any officer.”
