Glasgow pub hosting beer and chocolate pairing event to celebrate Easter

Beer and chocolate are up there on the list of everyone's favourite things, right?

So when we heard that Glasgow bar Innis and Gunn were running a special event pairing the two together it's fair to see we got a little excited.

This Easter Sunday, staff at the Ashton Lane bar are treating all of the sweet-toothed adults out there to a chocolate and beer pairing get-together.

Stack and Still release Easter themed pancakes with mini eggs, chocolate nest and hot fudge sauce

And it's not just any regular beer that the sweet treats will be paired with, it's Amundsen's Desserts in a Can. Yes you heard right, desserts in a can.

This delicious beer is a dessert in itself and visitors at the event will get to taste a range of sweet flavours.

Tickets are £16 per person and include a third of each beer along with a paired chocolate from Temper.

Barras Food Truck Fest returns to Glasgow's east end next month for free outdoor party

The Dessert in a Can beers included are:

  • Coconut choc chip cookie
  • Choc mud cake
  • Pecan and maple pie
  • Salted caramel chocolate-chip cookie

If your sweet tooth can't get enough of them after the event don't worry, Innis and Gunn have the beers on keg and will be pouring them all day. They'll also have a cheeky keg of Amundsen Bourbon BA Marshmallow Psycho.

Book now to avoid disappointment. Advance bookings required.

Tickets are available here or you can check out the Facebook event page here.
