Glasgow pub cordoned off by cops as 'blood splattered across street'

Police have taped off the Hootenanny pub in Glasgowamid an ongoing investigation.

Officers have cordoned off a section of Howard Street and the entrance to Dixon Street in the city centre following an incident.

It has been reported that splatters of dried blood could be seen leading away from the bar and towards Cafe Nero in St Enoch Square.

Officers have been spotted guarding off the area and they remain on the scene.

The nature of the incident is not yet known.

Police Scotland has been approached for a comment.
