Glasgow pub 'brawl between football fans' ends with one in hospital and another arrested

One man has been arrested and another taken to hospital after a fight between apparent football fans outside a city centre pub.

Footage shared on social media appeared to show men fighting on the street outside Connolly's Irish Bar on Bell Street following Sunday's Rangers v Celtic match, the Daily Record reports.

Police say they arrested one man at around 5.35pm on Sunday, August 29.

Officers have since confirmed three men in total will also be reported in connection with the incident.

The video footage then shows what looks like police arriving, with several officers in attendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a fight outside a premises on Bell Street in Glasgow at around 5.35pm on Sunday, August 29, 2021.

"One man was arrested at the scene. One man was taken to hospital for treatment.

"Three men will be reported in connection with the incident."
