A much-loved Glasgow pub has appealed for the return of a special commemorative The Clash plaque that has been ripped off the wall outside in the past week.
The plaque, outside Duke's Bar on Old Dumbarton Road in the west end, pays tribute to the time the punk band played it as part of a run of impromptu shows back in 1985.
And the Yorkhill pub made the appeal for its return via their Facebook page.
They wrote: "Someone’s stolen our clash plaque from the front of the bar sometime last week. If you catch anyone playing frisbee with it in the park please give us a ring."

The plaque, which reads 'Live Gig, The Clash, May 16, 1985, 'Busking Tour' celebrates the visit by Joe Strummer as part of a series of spontaneous shows in the city over two days prior to the release of their sixth and final album 'Cut the Crap'.
The punk band performed at the pub alongside the Rock Garden on Queen Street, the Vic Cafe Bar in Glasgow School of Art and the Fixx Bar on Miller Street.
