Glasgow primary schools issue urgent warning over disturbing 'two kids and a sand pit' sex video being shared among pupils

Two Scots schools have sent out urgent warnings after a sexually explicit video was shared among pupils.

Kids at Sandwood and Hillington Primary Schools, both in Glasgow, have been sharing footage of the disturbing video titled '2 kids and a sand pit'.

Teachers at both schools contacted parents to ask them to check their children's mobile phones due to the inappropriate content.

Fiona Donnelly, the head teacher at Sandwood, wrote to parents and carers asking them to be vigilant.

Her message was then posted on the Crookston and Pollok Community page on Facebook.

She said: "Dear Parent/Carer.

"Families have brought to our attention that there is a video being shared between older pupils called '2 kids and a sand pit'.

"This is not appropriate viewing and we are asking our families to check their children's phones.

"Another local primary school has also reported this being an issue and has contacted the police regarding this.

"Kind regards, Fiona Donnelly, Head Teacher."

Hillington Primary School also sent out a warning to kids and parents (Google Maps)

While, Hillington Primary School took to Twitter to warn parents over the video.

In a statement the school said: "It has come to our attention that an internet link is being shared by children in the local community which contains inappropriate content.

"Please check your child’s device & parental settings to ensure that your child is only accessing safe sites online."

Glasgow City Council praised both schools for taking swift action but also warning parents and carers about the negative aspects of the internet.

A Glasgow City Council spokesperson said: “The schools took swift action to alert parents to the video being shared as soon as they became aware of what the pupils were doing on their personal devices.

“This a timely warning to parents and carers to speak to their children about the negative aspects of the internet and keeping safe online – a message that will be reiterated in our schools.”
