Contact tracing is taking place at a Glasgow school after at least one pupil tested positive for coronavirus.
Families of students affected at St Albert's Primary School have been contacted and told to keep youngsters at home and in quarantine for 14 days.
NHS Greater Glasgow's Test and Protect team is currently carrying out COVID-19 contact tracing at the school, in Pollokshields in the south side of the city.
NHS chiefs say "robust control measures" are in place at the school and there is currently no evidence of transmission within the facility itself.
A Glasgow City Council spokeswoman said: “The school is working closely with our public health colleagues who’ve confirmed that robust control measures are in place at the school, and there is currently no evidence of transmission within the school itself.
“The test and protect team has contacted any families who’s child needs to self-isolate as a precaution for 14 days and the school has already arranged for these pupils to be taught on line during this period.
“A public health letter of reassurance has been sent to all families with information and advice.”
In a letter to parents and carers, NHS bosses say those directly identified as contacts are being contacted individually.
All other pupils and staff can continue to attend as normal.
This includes siblings of those identified as contacts, who can keep coming to school, unless they, or anyone else in the household develop symptoms
