Glasgow-based strategic communications and PR consultancy Hollicom has announced a new appointment as its business-to-business services expand.
From 5 July, experienced editor and finance journalist Ken Symon will join the agency as associate director.
He moves from being editor at Scottish Business Insider magazine and this very website for the last five years. His previous roles include deputy editor of The Sunday Times Scotland, and business editor of The Scotsman.
He will lead the business-to-business side of the agency and will also work on business development with the executive team, which recently expanded to include creative director and former broadcaster Heather Suttie.
Katie Palmer was also recently promoted to the executive team as associate director.
Symon said: “I am delighted to be joining Hollicom as it expands and works to better serve its clients in what is still a very challenging time for many businesses.
“I am looking forward to working with a highly creative team to help advise businesses as they face the issues and opportunities of working in the ‘new normal’ as we emerge from the pandemic.”
This appointment news follows the agency announcing seven new hires in October, as it invested in talent and stepped up its services.
