There are more sex offenders living in the north west of Glasgow than anywhere else in the city.
New police figures show 693 people on the register live within a G postcode, with G13 topping the list.
The data were released by Police Scotland in response to a Freedom of Information (FOI)Request for a breakdown of all the registered sex offenders within G postcodes.
The G postcode area takes in Glasgow City, West Dunbartonshire, as well as parts of North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, East Renfrewshire, Argyll and Bute and Stirling.
The highest number of sex offenders in the region occurred in the G13 area, with 52 registered people. The area includes the neighbourhoods of Anniesland, Temple, Netherton and Knightswood.
This is followed by the G32 area in the east end of Glasgow, which has 38 registered sex offenders.
Both the G21 area in Glasgow North and G67 area in Cumbernauld have 36 registered offenders.
In areas where the fourth digit post code is less than 1000 people, the number of registered sex offenders has been withheld to protect anonymity.
The FOI stresses that "protecting the public is a top priority for Police Scotland" and that the force uses "professional assessment and management to properly target resources at those who pose a risk to the public."
It continues: "Police Scotland works in partnership with a number of agencies through Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) to ensure that all registered sex offenders (RSOs) are robustly managed within the community. While we can never eliminate risk entirely, we want to reassure communities that all reasonable steps are being taken to protect them."
