Glasgow police share CCTV image of man after Cumbernauld Road shop robbery

Police have shared a CCTV image of a man after a store was robbed on Cumbernauld Road.

The incident took place at the One O One shop in Glasgow's east end on the morning of January 6.

Police want to speak to the man pictured in the image who is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins, of slim build with short/shaved light coloured hair.

Anyone with information is asked to come forward.

A Police Scotland statement published this evening confirmed: "Detectives are releasing an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries following a robbery in Glasgow on Wednesday, 6 January, 2021.

"The incident occurred around 10.17am at the One O One, 362 Cumbernauld Road.

"Officers believe the man in the images may have information that could help with their investigation.

"He is described as white, approximately 5ft 7ins, of slim build with short/shaved light coloured hair. He can be seen to be wearing a black hooded jacket with ‘The North Face’ in white writing across the chest area and was carrying a blue plastic carrier bag.

"Anyone with information on this incident, or who recognises the man in the images, is asked to contact the Community Investigation Unit based at Govan through 101, quoting incident number 0788 of Wednesday, 6 January, 2021. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
