Glasgow police release image of man in Celtic top after daytime assault in city centre

Police have released the image of a man they want to speak to in relation to a city centre assault.

Detectives are investigating the incident that unfolded around 3.25pm on Saturday, May 7 on Argyle Street near to Queen Street.

The man pictured is described as white with short dark hair and a dark beard. He was wearing a Celtic top, grey shorts and white trainers.

Detective Constable John Aitken said: “I would urge the man, or anyone who has information relating to him to contact police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2482 of Saturday, 7 May, 2022, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously.”
