Glasgow police probe into city centre serious assault as CCTV images of man released

Police probing a serious assault in Glasgow city centre have released CCTV images of a man.

They believe the man may be able to assist their ongoing enquiries into the incident, which took place on Howard Street around 10:05pm on Tuesday, March 8.

The man is described as having a slim build and at the time of the incident was wearing a grey hooded tracksuit top with a black and white North Face logo and matching grey tracksuit bottoms.

Investigating officers are appealing for the man or anyone who recognises him to contact them.

Detective Constable Mark McCallum said: “The man, or anyone who recognises him or can help us to identify him, please contact officers as soon as possible."

Anyone with any information should contact Police Scotland on 101 and quote incident number 3385 of 8 March, 2022. Alternatively, an anonymous report can be made to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.
