Police believe the assault was a targeted attack and say there is nothing to suggest any threat to the wider public.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the vicinity of Quarrybrae Street at the time the assault occurred and in particular two women who were seen to walk past at this time.

Anyone who has any information that could assist enquiries is asked to contact Shettleston Police Office quoting incident number 1868 of 16 January 2022. Alternatively calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained.
