Glasgow police launch urgent search for missing woman Karina Cairns

Police in Greater Glasgow have launched an appeal for the public's support in tracing a woman who has been missing since Wednesday.

According to information released by Police Scotland on Twitter this afternoon, 45-year-old Karina Cairns was last seen on Dumbarton Road in Partick on Wednesday 15th December.

It is thought that Karina may have travelled to the Maryhill area of Glasgow.

Police have not released any further details regarding what Karina was wearing the last time she was seen.

Members of the public are being asked to call 101 and quote 1609 of 16th December if they have seen Karina.
