Glasgow police keen to trace three men after serious disturbance before Old Firm game in Gallowgate

Police are looking to trace three men following a serious disturbance before a Celtic v Rangers football game.

Officers have released images of the trio they believe may hold information which might assist their enquiries into the disturbance, which took place around 10.45am on Sunday, May 1, in the Gallowgate area.

The first man is described as being of medium build with a bald head, wearing a black hooded jacket with white emblem on chest, black shorts and black trainers, had a scarf which was removed during the disturbance.

The second man is described as being of medium build with dark hair and dark facial hair, black hooded jacket with a white emblem on the chest, dark navy jeans and white trainers.

And the third is described as being of heavy build with short fair hair, clean shaven, black hooded jacket, black t-shirt with a green emblem on the chest and black shorts.

Police Sergeant Gerry Orr of Greater Glasgow Divisional Violence Reduction Unit said: “I would urge each of these three men, or anyone who has information relating to any of these three men, depicted in the images to make contact with the police.

"Members of the public can contact Police Scotland via the 101 non-emergency telephone number quoting incident number 0832 of 1 May 2022 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
