Glasgow police in urgent appeal to trace 'vulnerable' missing Govanhill man

An urgent appeal has been launched to trace a vulnerable man missing in Glasgow .

James Kindred, 25, was last seen leaving his home in the Govanhill's Allison Street at around 4.50am on Sunday morning.

Police say that James is "vulnerable" and it is "absolutely vital" that he is traced as soon as possible.

He is described as white, 5ft5, thin build with dark hair and heavy stubble.

He was wearing a black zipper, dark coloured jeans and dark trainers.

Inspector John McCartin from Cathcart Police Station said: “James is vulnerable and it is absolutely vital that we trace him as soon as possible.

“He is known to spend time in Govan, Hampden and the wider Glasgow area and we would urge anyone who recognises James or has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward.

“We would also appeal to James directly to get in touch with someone, he is not in any trouble, we just want to confirm that he is safe and well."
