Glasgow police hunt teen sex pest who approached woman on Pollokshields street

Police are hunting a teenager who approached a lone woman and made sexualised comments towards her.

The victim was on Kenmure Street near to Albert Drive in Pollokshields around 8pm on Thursday when she was approached.

An unidentified man approached the 27-year-old woman and engaged her in conversation and made sexualised comments towards her.

The suspect is described as being around 17 to 19-years-old, Asian, around 5ft 8ins, and with black hair.

He was wearing a black t-shirt, grey bottom jogging bottoms, and thick rectangular glasses.

Detective Constable Paul Houston said: “The male did not make physical contact with the woman but his conduct and comments caused her alarm and our enquiries are ongoing to identify him.

“I would urge anyone with any information or who may have seen him in the area to come forward.
