Police have sealed off a house in the north east of Glasgow after the body of a man was 'found in the garden'.
Forensic officers were spotted outside the property on Mossbank Drive in the Hogganfield area this morning.
Police and emergency services raced to the scene on Tuesday morning (July 13) following the grim discovery.
A police cordon was subsequently put in place on Mossbank Drive and nearby Colintraive Avenue while investigatory work into the 'unexplained' death got underway. A large cordon was still in place on Wednesday morning.
Shocked residents reported how they woke up to 'police and forensics everywhere' as their quiet street was put on lockdown, the Daily Record reports.

One neighbour, who didn't want to be named, told the Record: "We've only been told that there was an incident but people said the man's body was found in the garden.
"You worry that there's more to it as police and forensics were everywhere and now nurses have been down today."
Another neighbour said: "It's just terrible what's happened, to think a body's been lying there just down the road."
A Police Scotland spokesperson told the paper: "Officers were called to an address in Mossbank Drive in Glasgow at around 10.40am on Tuesday following the sudden death of a man.
“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
