Glasgow police concerned for welfare of man last seen leaving west end hotel

Police in Glasgow are appealing for information to help trace a missing 41-year-old man in the city.

Brian Andrew was last seen leaving a hotel on Buckingham Terrace in the west end around 2pm on Monday, January 31 and may have headed in the direction of Glasgow's Botanical Gardens.

He is described as a white man of a slim build, around 5ft 5in tall with short black hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing dark clothing.

Inspector Bart Simonis of Glasgow’s Response Policing Unit, said: “We are becomingly increasingly concerned for Brian’s welfare and are appealing for assistance to help trace him safe and well.

“I would ask if you noticed anyone matching this description in the area or have any information on Brian’s whereabouts to contact police.”

Police Scotland can be contacted on 101 quoting incident number 2370 of Monday, 31 January, 2022.

UPDATE: Brian Andrew has been traced safe and well.
