Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road crash on the M74 motorway.
Traffic Scotland confirmed news of the incident just prior to 2pm this afternoon.
The crash has forced the closure of the southbound sliproad entry at Junction 6 (Hamilton Interchange).
Police have confirmed that they are responding to a two-vehicle collision and that the slip road is currently blocked.

Officers remain at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to reports of a two vehicle collision on the M74 at junction 6.
"The slip road is currently blocked and officers are at the scene."
UPDATE - The S/B entry slip at J6 is open following a police incident.
