Glasgow petrol station: Staff threatened and hundreds of pounds stolen in 'terrifying experience'

Thieves threatened staff before making off with hundreds of pounds and cigarettes from a petrol garage in Milton early this morning.

Two men robbed the Esso Londis on Balmore Road in the early hours of Monday September 27.

Police described the incident as a 'terrifying experience' for staff and say a three figure sum of cash was taken along with a quantity of cigarettes before the men fled in the direction of Ashgill Road.

An appeal has since been launched to find witnesses to the robbery.
