Glasgow park ‘stabbing’ sees two men arrested in connection with attempted murder

Two men have been arrested in connection with attempted murder following an alleged stabbing in Glasgow.

We told how a disturbance broke out in Keal Avenue, near Blairdardie Park, north-west of the city, on Saturday morning.

Video footage surfaced of an alleged brawl with locals claiming that someone had been knifed.

Later that day police confirmed an incident had taken place and that two men, aged 39 and 41, were seriously injured.

The pair were rushed to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Their current medical condition is yet to be confirmed.

On Sunday morning officers admitted they'd mistakenly reported that one of the injured men was 39-years-old.

He is in fact aged 38.

Cops also revealed that, following the incident, two men, aged 38 and 41, have been arrested in connection with attempted murder.

A third man, aged 41, has been arrested in connection with assault.

Enquiries are ongoing.

"A third man, aged 41, has been arrested in connection with assault.
