Glasgow park sex attack sparks police probe after late night incident reported to officers

A police investigation has been launched after a person was sexually assaulted in a Glasgow park.

The victim was attacked in Glasgow Green at around 9.40pm on Friday, March 5.

It has since been reported to Police Scotland who have confirmed that enquiries are “at a very early stage”.

A force spokesperson said: “Around 9.40 pm on Friday, 5 March, 2021 police were called following a report of a sexual assault in Glasgow Green.

“Enquiries, which are at a very early stage, are continuing."
