Glasgow nightclub offers axed Thomas Cook staff 'free sesh' on them

A Glasgow nightclub is hoping to put a smile on axed Thomas Cook staffs faces by inviting them to a 'heavy sesh' this Friday.

The Shed in the Southside are launching their newest club night 'SHEDFACED' and are encouraging the former airline staff to go along and 'have some fun' after a rough week.

The former Thomas Cook staff members, who found out they had lost their jobs on Monday after the airline announced they had went into administration, will get four free drinks, a queue skip, free entry and free cloak room.

The kind-hearted club posted the invite on their Facebook page this afternoon.

It read: "This Friday we're launching our newest club night SHEDFACED which is all about having fun, and we know a few people who need a bit of fun right now are Thomas Cook staff, so we've decided to give them a heavy sesh on us."

To bag a freebie, staff need to produce a valid Thomas Cook staff card, payslip or other form of ID.

Party-goers praised the club for the thoughtful gesture.

One wrote: "Lovely thing to do! Well in guys."

Another said: Love this. Great idea."

Whilst one former Thomas Cook employee said: "Wow how good and kind is that! Will let the girls know."
