Glasgow Night Shelter appeals for donations as drop-off point to open

Glasgow Night Shelter is appealing for donations from the members of the public, as it confirms a drop-off point will be opened for one day only next weekend.

The charity will provide details of the drop-off point to people that email them at hello@glasgownightshelter.org.

The drop-off area will be open for five hours, from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, March 20.

Glasgow Night Shelter are asking for the following items to be donated:

  • New bedding
  • New towels
  • Handwash
  • Toothbrushes
  • New boxer shorts (small and medium)
  • New socks
  • Jackets (small and medium)
  • Sweatshirts/hoodies (small, medium and large)
  • Jeans (sizes 28, 30, 32, 34)
  • Shoes (sizes 7, 8, 9, 10)
  • Slippers/sliders (sizes 7,8, 9, 10)
  • Safety razors
  • Nail clippers
  • Hair clippers
  • Projectors
  • Digital cameras
  • Memory sticks/flash dries
  • Acoustic guitars
  • Drums and hand-percussion
  • Pianos/synthesisers
  • English textbooks
  • Dictionaries (Arabic-English, Farsi-English)
  • Arts and crafts supplies
  • Stationery supplies

The charity has noted all clothing is for men only.

A message from the organisation reads: "We are opening a donation drop-off point next Saturday (20 March) - please have a look at the list below to see if you could contribute to the collection!
