Glasgow newlyweds visit Banksy GoMA exhibition for unique wedding photoshoot

A Glasgow newlywed couple have visited the Banksy exhibition - and it's certainly made for a unique photoshoot.

Making the day even more memorable, the couple visited the Gallery of Modern Art on Saturday (June 17) - commonly referred to as the GoMA - and posed in front of one of Banksy's exhibitions.

Rather than just posing in front of it however, the couple also took some hilarious photos before posing for a sweet one, wedding flowers in hand. And it seems they were given early access to the exhibition before the public.

Taking to twitter to share the snaps the official GoMA account tweeted: "We had some very special guests visit the exhibition yesterday. Congratulations, hope you both had a wonderful day!

"Sorry, we whisked you in so quickly we never got your names. Give us a shout if you know the happy couple! #banksywedding #banksy #cutandrun #gomaglasgow."

The famous artist is holding his first solo show in 14 years with locals - and people from afar - queuing in their hundreds to see his talent for their own eyes.

The solo show, CUT & RUN: 25 years card labour, opened on June 18 and will be able to see it up until August 28.

Using original stencils to create new versions of famous pieces, Banksy's art will feature the likes of the Kissing Coppers, which first appeared on a wall of the Prince Albert pub in Brighton in 2004. It will also include Mobile Lovers - from Bristol in 2014 - which shows two people hugging and looking at their screens over each other's shoulder.
