Glasgow named one of top 10 locations as leading innovators in UK cryptocurrency job opportunities

New research from SmallBusinessPrices.co.uk has discovered that more people are taking up roles in the ever-growing trading market of cryptocurrency and as a result, a multitude of differing jobs are being created within the digital industry.

The interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI) also continues to grow with more opportunities cropping up in this sector too.

The analysis shows that while the USA is the dominant leading country when it comes to the most people working in crypto job roles - top jobs can be found in the Internet, technology, banking and financial services sectors - Glasgow has been ranked in the top 10 of UK cities.

The top cities in the UK offering the most crypto job opportunities:

  2. Cambridge
  3. Greenford
  4. Manchester
  5. Glasgow
  6. Leeds
  7. Bristol
  8. Belfast
  9. Birmingham
  10. Liverpool

The top industries across the UK for crypto-enthusiasts include computer software and hardware and media and publishing.

The third country with the most crypto jobs is Canada, with Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal leading the way as cities with the highest number of crypto job advertisements. Industries such as Internet and technology and computer Software and hardware are also popular sectors across the country.

The USA also has the highest number of AI job opportunities, with New York, Seattle and San Francisco topping the list of employment opportunities in the virtual sector.

The UK took second spot again, with Edinburgh featuring as one of the top 10 cities offering AI job opportunities.
