Did you always dream of going to a university that made you feel like you were in Harry Potter?
Not so much cloaks and wands, but definitely spires and ancient historical buildings. Ones you can imagine hundreds of years of students wandering around in.
With 40% of all 18-year-olds in the UK applying for university this upcoming academic year, and no open days to attend, students are turning to social media to get the lay of the land.
Money-saving app, Student Beans, have analysed over 6 million Instagram hashtags to find the most Insta-worthy universities across the UK, and the University of Glasgow has come in sixth place.

Glasgow was joined in the top rankings by the University of Oxford, and the University of Cambridge who took the top two spots, whilst the University of Leeds took third place.
The data reveals that the North dominated the rankings, securing five spaces in the top ten, while the South only managed the cinch three, and the midlands two.
Every listed university is part of the prestigious Russell Group, which are classed as unique institutions reserved for world class leading research universities, of which there are only 24.
