The mother of a woman murdered in a Glasgow park 12 years ago has shared her private journals in a documentary that will air next month.
Beatrice Jones’s daughter Moira was abducted before being raped and murdered in Queen’s Park on May 28, 2008.
The 40-year-old sales executive lived in a flat overlooking the park in Glasgow’s south side and was ambushed just yards from her front door.

The subsequent murder investigation led to Slovakian ex-soldier Marek Harcar being jailed for a minimum of 25 years.
In The Dark Shadow of Murder, to be shown on BBC Scotland on September 1, Beatrice reveals the heartache her family endured.
She said: “I will never find the words to describe our trauma, devastation and despair, the horror of how Moira died.
“Shortly after, to try to cope better, I started to write my inner turmoil.
“Much later, I thought that this could also help other people.
“These writings have never been shared with anyone, until now.”
