Glasgow mum found ‘in bad way’ after disappearing in Turkey back home with family

A Glasgow mum who was found "in a bad condition" after vanishing in Turkey has returned to Scotland.

Concerns were raised about the whereabouts of Carolann Davis after she went missing from the Blue Bay Hotel in the Mediterranean resort town of Marmaris on Monday.

A major social media appeal was launched, and the mum was eventually found - but had to be taken to hospital as she was

Her daughter Cherhys, who had been leading the campaign to get her home, has since confirmed she was arrived safely back in Glasgow to her loving family.

She told the Scottish Sun : "My mum is now home.

"I'd like to thank everybody who helped find her - especially the community over in Marmaris and how much they did through searches and putting posters around the city.

"I’m eternally grateful.

"It was all the power of Facebook and the public who found her."
