Glasgow mum 'eats Jesus' after spotting his face on Morton's tattie scone

A Scots mum was left stunned when she spotted 'Jesus' in a Morton's tattie scone .

Amy Cathrine McCue was frying up the Scottish delicacy for her lunch this afternoon when she noticed the son of God's face dripping in grease.

The 26-year-old said: "When I first seen it I was going to keep it because I felt like it was a sign from him.

"I ate it but cos he told me to.

"It was like a Biblical sacrifice."

The Glasgow mum said she was astounded Jesus had 'chosen' to appear before her.

She quickly showed the 'sacred' tattie to her three month old baby Charlie, who she claims was less than interested.

She added: "Charlie didn't have any. Jesus doesn’t condone early weaning."

After scoffing the scone Amy said she was humming Away in A Manger.

"See I'm not one for starting rumours but I’ve also started humming Away in A Manger, but that could be just coincidence', added Amy.

Amy claims today's experience has made her feel as though she could go to chapel without 'bursting into flames'.

She isn't the only Scot to claim the son of God appeared before her.
