A Glaswegian has scooped an incredible £250k prize as a contestant on tonight's Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Retired English teacher Callum Hind appeared on last night's show, winning £32,000 in under 15 minutes, using just two of his four lifelines.
And this evening he continued to get the answers right, eventually netting the six-figure sum - Callum decided to take the money after being faced with the question for half a million pounds.
He was asked: 'In 1930, who became the first non-American to be named Man of the Year by TIME magazine', with the options:
A: Joseph Stalin
B: Albert Einstein
C: Mahatma Gandhi
D: Haile Selassie
Callum, the son of Archie Hind who wrote Dear Green Place and friend of the late Alasdair Gray was unsure of the answer (C: Mahatma Gandhi) and made the right decision to take the cash!
Congratulations Callum! What a result!
