Glasgow man locks loo roll in home safe amid panic buying in the city

It seems that the panic buying that was broadcast on the news as happening in places like London and Australia has most certainly made its way to G postcodes.

With shops across Glasgow running low or out completely of items such as handwash and other items due to concerns about shortages as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

Massive queues were spotted at Costco in Springburn earlier this morning with shoppers keen to stock up on goods - meaning that by 10am there were no trolleys or parking spaces left to be had.

While pubs in Glasgow have reported that people have even been nicking their loo roll from the toilets.

And now with typical Glasgow humour a man has responded to all the panic buying taking place by locking her toilet roll in her safe at home to keep her loo rolls away from prying eyes.

Jackie Oneill shared a video of the loo rolls in the safe on her Facebook account, much to the laughter of her friends. who viewed it.

With husband Brian telling Glasgow Live that he came up with the idea for the joke video in response to having seen two people argue over toilet rolls in a pharmacy in Balloch.

Never change Glasgow!
