Glasgow man goes viral after creating Scottish breakfast spring roll

A Glasgow man has gone viral after sharing a culinary creation of his own making.

Shaun Keaney decided to take matters into his own hands and create a Scottish breakfast spring roll.

The 28-year old from Parkhead came up with the idea after another video he did on the giant chicken ball from Ho's Cuisine in Bellshill went viral, and started a lot of other eateries creating their own version.

In the clip, the self-employed Joiner can be seen cooking up a fry-up with square sausage, black pudding, bacon and tattie scones before wrapping them up in spring roll pastry, reports the Daily Record.

He explains that fellow Scottish Tiktok sensation Myles Omar gave him the idea to use a certain type of spring roll wraps when they met at House of Cher in the south side of Glasgow.

Shaun said: "When I went to get the spring roll wraps I met Myles, as I've had a few back and forths with him on his live videos, he's an absolute gentleman and told me how to prep them.

"He seemed buzzing for me about the idea. Very supportive guy."

When he put his creation together, Shaun explained that it turned out even better than he thought it would, describing it as "absolutely amazing".

Even better, one of the takeaway places he did a previous video with has now said they will also try it.

Hopefully, it becomes a part of a menu somewhere," added Shaun, who said the response to the clip has been really positive.

One fan of the clip posted: "OMG, this looks class!"

While another added: "Trademark that, looks incredible!"

The TikTok star also revealed what's up next on his hitlist.

"Later this week I'll be doing Wagyu and bacon cheeseburger spring rolls and a side of Mac and cheese spring rolls.

"I'm not much of a cook but really enjoyed making these."
