Glasgow man charged in connection with three separate reports of person seen 'acting suspiciously'

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with three separate incidents where a man was reported to have been acting suspiciously.

The first incident allegedly occurred in the Maryhill area on Friday, November 19.

The same man has been charged with a further two similar incidents, both of which are alleged to have taken place on Monday, November 29, on Shieldhall Road and on Berryknowes Road near to Cardonald train station.

The 34-year-old was due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court today (December 2).

A report has also been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Following further information, a 34-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident that occurred in the Berryknowes Road area of Glasgow on Monday, 29 November, where a man was reported to have been acting suspiciously.

"The same man was also charged with a further two similar incidents, one which occurred in the Maryhill area on Friday, 19 November, and another from Shieldhall Road on Monday, 29 November.

"He was due to appear in Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 2 December, 2021. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
