Glasgow man, 35, taken to hospital after being found injured on east end street

Police have locked down a street in Glasgow's east end after a man was discovered injured.

A 35-year-old man was found injured on Inveresk Street in the Greenfield area of the city.

Officers arrived shortly after 2pm on March 30.

A cordon has been put up around the entrance to the street.

The man has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for his injuries.

At present, his condition and extent of his injuries are unknown.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, but say that enquiries into what happened are currently still at an early stage.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 2.10pm today, Tuesday, 30 March, 2021, a 35-year-old man was found injured in Inveresk Street in Glasgow.

"He has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is currently being treated for his injuries.

"Enquiries into the matter are at an early stage.”
