Glasgow Lives: Tommy Lee, 17, Royston, Television Production student

"I had a teacher quite early on at school who had a great passion for drama and that inspired me and got me interested in the subject.

"I really enjoyed studying drama throughout my school years, at first I learned about performance and as I got older we moved onto the technical side of production and I really enjoyed that too and decided that was what I wanted to pursue, with a hope of finding my career in it.

"When I was around the age of 13 I decided I would study Television Production and I’m now in my first year of my HND, and I’m loving it.

"At the moment I think I’d like to work in film and television as an animator. I’m really enjoying the animation side of my studies, I’m working on a short animated film about some ghosts that aren’t making a very good job of haunting people, it’s a bit of a comedy and it’s been fun working on it.

"I’d love to think I would work with great Scottish actors in animation doing voice overs and things like that, maybe someone like Ewan McGregor, but I’m very early into my studies and there’s still so much to learn, so I may change my mind about that and take my career in a different direction, but definitely in film and television. I’m sure about that."
