If ever there was proof that Glasgow is in love with its food, it’s you lot casting your votes for the very best eats in the city.
We launched our Best Places Awards in May, calling on the public to nominate their favourite bars, cafes and restaurants across 17 categories.
The response was phenomenal, allowing us to pull together a shortlist across categories like best burger, top Indian and the restaurants you return to again and again in each corner of the city.
Some 8,379 votes later (and yes, we had to count them all!), we had our winners - and last night we were able to reveal the winning list in full.
Stickers and letters from the editor are on their way to our very worthy winners as we type - but in the meantime, here’s our full list for anyone who missed last night’s live announcements.

Glasgow, you’ve got some great grub going on out there. If your thousands of votes tell us anything, it’s that we’re a city in love with food - and with more and more places opening each week, the city’s food star is ever-rising.
