We love to look at properties in Glasgow to see which one we'd want to live in that we can't actually afford - but having stumbled across this one, we were left pretty speechless - and so were others.
A landlord has been trolled for trying to rent out a toilet as an office space in a Glasgow flat for £50 a week.
The posting on Gumtree, which has since been removed, was available from 8am to 6pm every Monday to Friday and is located in Partick in the West End.
The listing and photos showed a desk, filing cabinet and even a mini fridge located right next to a toilet with a pink seat.
As well as the loo, it also comes with fibre broadband, some books and a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
The advert, uploaded more than a month ago, read: "Small and compact space ideal for solo working. Located on the 1st floor of a tenement building in Partick, the space has its own private entrance.
"Included is fibre broadband connection, 2 desks, mini fridge, toilet and sink, underfloor heating, lamps, mains supply, kettle.
"It’s a nice quiet spot and was recently converted. Available from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and would provide keys to longer term renters."
Spotting the posting, a twitter user said: "Someone in Partick is renting their s***er out as an office."
Another added: "Zoom calls on the throne".
Whilst someone questioned: "Kay where is the shower? What about wet paperwork? There is a claim there waiting to happen."
Despite the original posting having been removed, the link is still active and has been updated - both in it's description and price.
It jokes: "We're a family of 5 living in a 1 bed flat in Partick, Glasgow. During lockdown we decided to turn our small flat's toilet into a studio space with a desk. It's got a great vibe. Very unique.
"This is not only our toilet but also our kitchen, family living room and bedroom (mezzanine bed level not pictured).
"Our 3 kids are home schooled, and sometimes they have to use the toilet, as do we. However, we are quiet and well trained and will be no bother to you. Upped the price to £550 a week due to high demand.
"You will discover this once you get in touch to rent the space and meet me and the family."
