Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023 - route, date and everything you need to know about the charity event

Glaswegians will soon be taking part in the Kiltwalk set to take place around the city.

At the end of the month, hundreds of people will take to the roads to help raise funds with over 800 charities set to benefit from Glasgow Kiltwalk fundraising alone.

Other events are taking place across the UK including Edinburgh (September 17), Aberdeen (June 4), and Dundee (August 20).

But what is the route like for the upcoming event? Here is everything you need to know.

The Glasgow event is now sold out and you can no longer enter.

Glasgow Kiltwalk - route

There are several routes that you can take

On the official Kiltwalk website they say that for the 'Mighty Stride' you will start off at the iconic Glasgow Green and finish the "ultimate Kiltwalk challenge" in the idyllic surroundings of Balloch, Loch Lomond.

The total walk is 22.7 miles with an average of eight hours being estimated.

The smallest of them, The Wee Wander, is three miles long and should take around one and a half hours leaving from Loch Lomond Shore and finishing at Moss O'Balloch Park.

The event will take place on April 30, 2023.

Glasgow Kiltwalk - registration and how to get there

You can visit the PDF document here for all the information you need on the day about registration. It is essential that your ID badge (and attached meal voucher) are connected to your lanyard and kept securely around your neck at all times during the event for safety purposes and this will ensure you get quick access to your meal at the finish line.
