Glasgow Kiltwalk 2019: All the best pictures from this year's charity event

An incredible 13,000 put on their walking shoes and their kilts this morning to take part in the Royal Bank of Scotland Kiltwalk of 2019.

As well as the record-breaking turn out, more than £3.5 million was raised for charities across Scotland.

More than 6,500 kind-hearted Kiltwalkers gathered at Glasgow Green at 9am this morning to set off on the 23-mile Mighty Stride.

They were joined later by 3,700 taking on the 15-mile Big Stroll while 2,800 completed the six-mile Wee Wander, with all the walkers completing the challenge at the Kiltwalk village finish line in Balloch.

Walkers raised £2.5m, which thanks to Sir Tom Hunter's 40 per cent top-up will make the total raised the total to an incredible £3.5m.
