Glasgow is one of the toughest places to pass your test in Scotland.
Pass probability calculator Marmalade has calculated a decade of pass rate data from every test centre in the country to reveal the ten places with the highest and lowest pass rates.
Anniesland in Glasgow is the hardest place to pass your test, with a pass rate of just 42.45 per cent – well below the UK average pass rate of 54.43 per cent. Interestingly, May was found to be the hardest month to pass, with practical pass rates dropped even further to 41.11 per cent.
This is followed by Baillieston, with a 42.85 per cent pass rate and Paisley, at 44.48 per cent.
The easiest in the whole of Britain is Campbeltown with a whopping 73.68 per cent. If you take your test there in May, there’s a 90 per cent chance you’ll pass.
Belvedere in Kent is the toughest place to take your test in the UK, with a pass rate of just 31.20 per cent.
Crispin Moger, CEO at Marmalade, said: “We know that driving tests can bring about nerves.
“In fact, more than 50 per cent of young motorists are equally or more anxious about facing their driving test than their academic exams.
“We wanted to provide a handy tool to help young learner drivers, and their parents, find out more about their chosen test centre and its pass rates.
“Ultimately aiming to give them a little piece of mind when it comes to booking a test, and show them how many motorists pass at this centre, in the month of their test.”
