Glasgow is the 7th most expensive city to park in the UK

Glasgow is the 7th most expensive place in the UK to park your car.

Data released by Appsjobs revealed that Scotland's biggest city forces drivers to hand over the largest amount of cash to park their car.

Stats revealed parking costs a staggering £17.20 for one day between 8:30am-6pm, the second largest amount in Scotland behind Edinburgh - where drivers pay an average daily cost of £24.60.

Edinburgh even outdoes London, with stats revealing the capital to be the second most expensive place to park in the UK.

Leeds comes top though - with drivers expected to dish out whopping average of £28.70 each day.

Meanwhile, our pals further down south have the better deal, with folk Southampton getting the cheapest deal, paying an average of £7.60 daily.  That's three times less than the likes of Leeds, London and Edinburgh.
