Glasgow industrial units are sold for £1.25 million

A block of multi-let industrial units in Cambuslang, Glasgow, has been sold for £1.125 million.

Middlesbrough-based landlord Cable Properties and Investments has bought Block 9 at Clydesmill Industrial Estate from Glasgow-based investor Danobe, reflecting a net initial yield of 7.75%.

The terrace of five units at Cambuslang Investment Park comprises 13,187 sq ft, with unit sizes ranging from 1,864 sq ft to 3,816 sq ft. They are fully let to tenants including Craighead Building Supplies and Clyde Document Imaging.

Derek Archer, investment associate at Ryden, said: ''Given the strong prevailing demand for industrial stock as well as the asset's prime location, the property was very well received within the market and attracted around half a dozen bids at closing date."

Ryden represented Danobe while Avison & Young acted on behalf of Cable Properties and Investments Limited.
