The move will come into force from this Wednesday.

The move welcomed praise from droves of punters as well as famous faces.

TV chef Gino D'Acampo hailed another branch of Iceland for their efforts to protect the elderly amid the Covid-19 chaos.

He wrote on Twitter: " I like this, very cool."

Gino has starred in a number of TV adverts for the supermarket giant.

It comes as Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged Brits to avoid visiting pubs, bars and restaurants in his latest coronavirus statements.

Mass gatherings were also deemed dangerous with regards to spreading the virus.

In Scotland, 171 people have been diagnosed with Covid-19.
