A mum in Glasgow has shown her appreciation for our NHS heroes on the frontlines amid the coronavirus crisis - by transforming her house into a giant rainbow tribute.
Nikki Murray, from Ruchill, spent three days making the massive tribute, using chalk to colour each brick of her home a different colour of the rainbow.
And she even roped in some tiny helpers in the form of her two daughters Mollie, 5, and Mya, 10 to help create it to keep them entertained during the nationwide lockdown.
Nikki's tribute has gone viral online, with her Facebook post being shared more than 4,500 times by people across the world and liked more than 5,000 times.
Speaking to the Daily Record, shop worker Nikki, 31, said: "It just started as an idea to pass the time for the girls and something for them to do.
"I thought it would be nice if they could go out, get some fresh air and bring a smile to people's faces at the same time.
"Since it's been finished I can't believe the reaction there has been. People have been stopping by the house to take pictures and it's gone absolutely nuts online.
"It took three days and we were out about two to three hours a day.
"The girls were having such a good time that the hours just flew by and before they knew it was time to go back in.
"Everyone is doing such a good job during the lockdown and it was nice to put something up for them".
The massive tribute joined households all over the UK who have put rainbow pictures in their windows as a way of thanking hard-working NHS staff and other key workers.
With kids using chalk to decorate pavements across Glasgow and in parks across the city.
