Glasgow house cordoned off by police after 'unexplained' death of a man

A house in Croftfoot has been cordoned off by police following the 'unexplained' death of a man.

Emergency services were called to a property on Glencroft Road around 7.30pm on Sunday following the sudden death of a 57-year-old man.

Police officers remain on the scene and a cordon has been set up around the house while investigations are carried out.

The man's next of kin have been made aware.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware around 7.30pm on Sunday, December 18 of the sudden death of a 57-year-old man at a property at Glencroft Road in Glasgow.

“His next of kin are aware.

“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
